はじめに

はじめまして、MSBのデザイナー(笑)のまことです！

初投稿記事ということで、MSBについての説明をさせて頂きたいと思います〜

まず、MSBとはなんぞや？

Medical Students without Borders (MSB) とは、京都大学医学部生による医学系留学生交流サークルです。

医学生の国際交流を目的として2017年夏ごろに３名で設立されました。京都大学にはたくさんの留学生がいますが、医系の留学生はほとんどいません。そのため海外の医学部生と交流することは難しく、その実現を目指し現在１０人ほどで活動しています。

現在は、医学教育・国際化推進センターと医学部の先生方の協力の元、一、二か月に一回交流会をしています。堅苦しいものではなく、各々が食べ物を持ち寄って様々な話をするだけのとてもゆる～い交流会です。いろいろな話をできて、とても楽しいです！

留学生は医学部の方だけという限定はしていませんので、興味があればぜひご連絡ください(っ'ヮ')╮ =͟͟͞͞❤️

今後の活動としては、

①交換留学プログラム

海外から医学部生を募集、病院実習,観光・文化体験・交流などを行う短期留学プログラムの実施

②研究室留学生の歓迎会

夏休みなどに京大医学部の研究室に短期留学してくる留学生の歓迎、交流

③Chatting party（留学生サロン）

二週間に一回くらいのペースでお菓子や飲み物を持ち寄る交流会

を目標としています！

普段の活動報告はもちろん、旅行好きのメンバーによる留学報告や旅行記も書いてもらう予定ですのでお楽しみに！

Hello!!! I am Makoto, a designer of MSB! I want to briefly introduce MSB.

What is MSB?

Medical Students without Borders(MSB) is an international medical interaction circle, initiated by 3 medical students in Kyoto University in the summer of 2017. Now we are about 10 members strong. The primary goal of MSB is to promote medical exchange between international and Japanese students without restrictions. This goal developed from the fact that the number of international students in Kyoto University, especially in the Medical field, is quite low and we seldom have the opportunity to interact with international medical students on campus.

Recently, we have been holding interaction and networking events once every few months with the support of Professors at Medical Education Center and the Faculty of Medicine. You can enjoy this event in a very free and casual environment where each participant brings some food to share while sharing experiences and ideas. Any international students from other faculties can join these events, feel free to contact us!

Up-coming activities

1. Exchanging studying abroad program

In this project, we recruit medical students from abroad and offer short-term program that involves visiting hospitals , sightseeing, culture class and interaction.

2. Reception and support for international students at medical laboratories

We are planning to hold a casual reception for short-stay international students coming to each medical laboratories in summer.

3. Chatting party

This interaction party is aimed to hold once every two weeks, each bringing foods or drinks in free styles. This is open to everyone!!

In addition, we will keep on uploading this blog with latest events and news. Daily activities, studying abroad experiences and traveler’s journal by each MSB member will be reported in this blog. Stay tuned!! Coming soon!!!!!
